    PhilPop 2016 reveals interpreters; launches commemorative book, digital album

    The country's premier songwriting competition, PhilPop, in its 2016 edition, has revealed the exciting line up of celebrity interpreters this year.

    Simultaneously, PhilPop also launched the 2016 digital album on Spotify and the PhilPop 2016 Commemorative Special Edition Book at a press conference held last May 27 at Hive Hotel in Quezon City.

    The interpreters, specifically handpicked to lend their voice and performance for specific compositions in this competition, along with the Top 12 songwriters are vying for the much-coveted PhilPop 2016 Grand Prize come Finals Night slated July 23 at the Kia Theater in Quezon City.

    PhilPop Head, Ryan Cayabyab, said that this year's list of interpreters forms a good mix of veterans and upstarts with diverse styles and music influences, that is guaranteed to give PhilPop's audience a wonderful celebration of music.
